Back and Forth

I have a hard time with this but I am going to try and post Monday through Friday for the next month. We’ll see how it goes. Some days get away from me and this falls to the bottom of the long list.

Today I will:

~ start the Whole Food Kitchen workshop – yippee!!

~ get organized for my contract work which I will be starting this week as well

~ be more mindful of my words after reading the SimpleMom post, Words will never hurt me?!

~ get to the gym this evening to start my three month challenge (a Biggest Loser of sorts – my goal is to lose 15 pounds in three months)

~ do my chores (wash all sheets, vacuum, clean bathrooms, get to the bank)

~ realize I can’t always get everything done

One more week

…and we leave for Ireland to have Baby H Christened.

Today I want to:

~ be a more mindful mother

~ stay off the computer as much as possible

~ get outside

~ finish up a sweater for M – just need to weave in the ends, sew on the buttons and block it

~ get to CVS for some saline for Baby H

~ get to Old Navy for a scarf I’ve been eyeing

~ start making packing lists for the trip

~ household chores: laundry, sweep & wash floors, clean bathrooms

Today I…

cleaned kid puke off a car seat

felt annoyed that I didn’t have more time to myself

felt addicted to the computer

was frazzled that I didn’t get more done

was amazed that my emotions can be on opposite ends of the spectrum in a single day

wore “yoga” pants all day and had to change my top three times (this baby of mine loves to spit up)

ate too much candy

made necklaces with my baby girl (love that martha stewart yarn!!)

did a little knitting

made dinner as I continue to raid the pantry and freezer and refuse to go to the grocery store – meatloaf, green beans with almonds, and roasted carrots that almost passed for sweet potato fries

didn’t get outside enough
